Melissa Ann (Loucks) Jackson

Melissa Ann Loucks Jackson, age 61 passed away on Friday, April 19, 2024 at her home in Idabel, OK. She was born on October 7, 1962 in Midwest City, OK the daughter of Al and Shirlene Loucks. Melissa was a 1981 graduate of Haworth High School. 

Melissa was a homemaker and worked several years as a Jailer at the McCurtain County Jail. She enjoyed making candy at Christmas, attending Choctaw Senior Trips and going on a cruise with her sisters. Melissa was a devoted mother and grandmother and loved spending time with her grandchildren and supporting them in all of their activities. She was a member of the Haworth Assembly of God Church and a lifetime resident of the area.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Tommy Jackson; brothers, Wayne Loucks and Brandon Loucks; twin infant sisters, Connie and Ronnie; and a granddaughter, Kynzlie Williams.

Melissa leaves behind to cherish her memory her sons, Matt Frunk and Betsy of Idabel, OK and Jason Coleman and Trisha Noah of DeQueen, AR; daughter, Brandy Frunk and Cameron Williams of Broken Bow, OK; sisters, Karen and Keith Donaldson of Idabel, OK, Kristy Loucks of Durant, OK and Annette and Troy Bullard of Wilburton, OK; grandchildren, Chad Keeton, Canen Frunk, Corbin Frunk, Chandler Frunk, Noah Schrand, Keene Schrand Connor Williams and Paisley Williams; a great-granddaughter, Lucy Keeton; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, April 25, 2024 at the White Family Chapel. Interment will follow at the Redland Cemetery.
